I'm pretty uncomfortable with the controls, you move around with A and D but you jump with Space Bar. That's not the problem sure, I can just have my right hand press Space, but the problem is that you're required to use the mouse to shoot lmao
other than that, nice designs and great music

update: this would be my personal preference. You can have the player jump with W instead and shoot with any keys for the right hand ex: K, L, P,... Also the Quit option at the start is tbh quite unnecessary

Woah, your first game? This is amazing for a beginner! I've been playing this game for about 20 mins and I've found some interesting stuff, the one that kept me laughing was the snowWOMAN lmao. I love the art style, animation, and dialogues. Not sure if I should say this, but, whenever I talk to someone, you need to keep the player face to face with the person she talks to! I talked to the king while facing to the left lmao, the player didn't even see the king's face. Oh and is it just me or the mouse in the game interacts quite slow.

I have no problems with the mouse, so maybe that's just you. I did, however, implement having the player face whomever she is talking to, so that will be released in the next update. Thank you for your feedback!

A very fun game to be sure, it is short but decent, for any players who play the first time can be confused by the function of the game, for ex, i didn't know pressing x could help he double the jump xdd keep it up with these types!
