you actually use the technique cutting Patrick's voice :)

the 0:31 synth was kinda dry

remember, use midi next time, like who tf have time to be an Absolute pitch

I have time to do that. I can do it very quickly (ex. the melodies for this were recreated in about half an hour or so, and tweaked as I went along). I have never ever used midis, and I never ever will. It's just how I roll. This isn't supposed to be a perfect recreation. The point of this was to challenge the abilities to recreate by ear. I know the synth at 0:31 is dry, didn't have time to fix it. Thanks for the feedback.

this needs a shit ton of improvements
the intro is good but when the arp hits, shits happened, the arp is weird
also, the track is overall lack of compression thus made it sounds unordinary loud

love the atmosphere of this, especially the intro
but not sure if i'd like that drop cuz some parts were left completely empty, i'd suggest adding some reverb

btw, i noticed that you just copy n paste the whole thing, which is bad

Thx for the feedback! Great that you experience an atmosphere, then i succeded in that haha!
I wanted those "empty" spaces combined with tape stop effect but true some reverb could have spiced things up. I try to variate and mix it as much as i can, but its hard to make EDM without copy and paste sometimes. Im still learning but hopefully in the future it will be a much better result! ^-^

the uh piano melody sounds like you just put the notes wherever you wanted, like, it didnt follow any particular keys, it just goes up (like the 1st drop) and some weird melodies in the intro or the break parts

i mean, it has the basic stuff of a house music
but it's lack of mixing, not so good overall, maybe there was no sidechain either

On the contrary, I was actually taking more professional advice on mixing this than I usually do, and as a matter of fact, the sidechaining here is no different from what I've been doing for the last half year at least.
