Distortion was intended. I guess I was trying to go for slight chaos there to contrast with the last part when everything comes back together. Without the distortion sounded ok, but I felt it lacked the energy I wanted. Thanks for listening to this by the way.

yes, the acapella that I used for the vocal chops was made by a french youtuber (and obviously singer) who makes vids about his homosexuality.
