i like how you added the background noises makes the music sounds more realistic
at some parts, the piano just gone cut, like, completely silent, might wanna hold the notes a bit longer, but if you don't want to, i suggest adding reverb to the piano

i like the theme and mood of this track, the metallic bass goin' around and around, could have been more realistic if you used panning effects, but one thing for sure, I appreciate your potential on resampling over and over one single bass

although talking about the content of it, I'm not sure what is it heading to, is the world having some sort of destruction? All of those glitchy fx don't make much sense...

ThaliaSolari responds:

Yeah stereo field is a major spot of improvement for me. I'd agree. I had planned on doing some more elaborate panning effects on this one and a couple of others on the album but the production for some of these dissuaded me from it.

This track is a resynthesized monster and only takes up on mixer track, in order to have done panning effects like I had planned I would have had to split parts of the audio channel up and throw them around the mixer. The only other solution was to put all of the mixer effects into patchers to save space (10 effect limit on FL mixer inserts), and then automate the stereo effects. But eh i'm lazy.

I wouldn't exactly describe it as the world undergoing a typical form of destruction, rather imagine it as a net being cast around multiple dimensions/realities and merging them all together into one.

Thanks for the comment!

the idea is cool, the drums are heavy, which is epic, the atmosphere is strong with this one, the arps and synths are on point!
Overall, nicely remade

MeisterMach5 responds:

I live for atmospheric tracks. One of my favorite artists is Mega Drive, and of course Kenji Yamamoto! Drums were a massive part of Metroid Prime's atmosphere. Ever since I played the Trilogy as a kid, I've always wanted to make atmospheric tracks that were on par. It makes me glad to hear that other people enjoy the atmosphere I try to create.
