drums should be replaced with some more... y'know, "chilled"
Yeah, I think you are right... but my intention wasn't to make chillstep at all.
Thanks for comment!

i like these kinds of drumstep, bass keep on moving up n down

did you make this? sorry, im just a bit curious because good producer like you should have been known by many people
Edit: damn, good job mate, keep up your style.
yeah im just bad at making any sort of public image because i have 3 different soundcloud accounts and usually just end up shitposting and ruining any sort of development ive had as an artist image wise.

X3LL3N - Higher ~ Just Kidding Remix
Ok
I have gotten that a lot ("JK" is my initials)
ugh you know where the problem is? the kick pattern!
if you use the "full-beat hardstyle kick" (that's what I usually call them lmao), you don't need the bass anymore, you may add sub-bass though
also, in the drop, the synths are lack of reverb which sounds kind empty
1:16 ok what the heck is that snare/clap, it sounds weird
Firstly, thanks for the actually helpful advice regarding the bass. Most feedback I get, in general, isn't particularly helpful.
The lack of reverb...this was one of my bigger pains when mixing this. The original sounds I used had WAY too much reverb, yet I had a hard time getting it to be just right, yet never could, so I felt taking a minimal approach would be better than the original amount of reverb.
The preference of a minimal approach brings irony to the last point, which is that I included those snares in the drop (as I have done in all my hardstyle songs) because honestly, I felt the second part of the drop wasn't different enough without them. This is my one and only complaint about hardstyle as a subgenre: the drops seem repetitive when no new elements are added during the drop. Use DJVI's "Can't Let Go 2.0" for reference...nothing's there at the end of the drop that wasn't there at the start. This is my problem with hardstyle, and so this is how I handle it, even if it's not the best way to do so. :/
