how long have you been making music

Zipf responds:

idk like a month or two

this isn't dubstep, it's rather a trance
one thing I'd like to suggest is that you should play around with the melody and chords, in general, the track is pretty repetitive, and the intro and the outro are the exact same.
but i like the way you vary the bass melody with the main one at 01:22

Typewriter7051 responds:

yeah I'm too lazy to find the correct genre for it so I mark everything dubstep lmao

i like how you added some clicks in the background to increase the intensity lmao

DJSimonOriole responds:

Thanks for the response. I kinda wanted to do this for so long xD

there's something wrong about this track in general, it's quiet, maybe because of the lack of compression
btw, use fl 20 now

FahadLami-NG responds:

I'll fix it 😉

i know theres a lot, i mean, a LOT of stuff needs to be fixed here, but i think what you need is time, you're a beginner arent ya? don't worry, no one starts off good. Have your time! slowly and surely develop yourself
one thing i'd like to mention doe, pls do fix the chord progression next time :) it sounds very odd here at 02:10, if you have some time, why not watch some music theory video? :)

Acri responds:

yeah i started around a year ago

heres my suggestion: remove or at least lower the volume of the synths at 00:25 so that people can hear the choir

Sairk responds:

I could do it, but the backing vocals are low quality, it was the only way to get the "acapella" out of the song. Anyway, I’ll try to do that, thanks for your comment! :D

i've listened to some of your tracks and they all have the same problem is the unsettling noises, the distorted synths, basses, and others, lack of mixing ect
overall a mess tbh, needs a lot of improvements

Trell13 responds:

thanks

now thats a weird ass looking audio waveform right there

TheCrazedSide responds:

lmao yup, it's as big a mess as it sounds.

can you tell me which scale do you usually use to make such melodies that sound happy?

DJSpyroof responds:

I don't know any music theory really. I just do everything by ear untill it sounds how I want it to sound ^^

parts like the mid part of the track sound kinda confusing, maybe becuz the odd time sig.
but 1UP for creativity
btw, you should start the track low, i mean like, LOW ;), then add some risers and stuff then we can begin the journey, i usually have a heart attack whenever a track starts out of nowhere

FahadLami-NG responds:

Sorry about that. XD
