the melody, the chords sound off the key
anyway, here's my suggestion: don't use FL Keys
how long have you been making music?

i didn't use fl keys lol, i tried to make it sound like plants vs zombies music so that's why some of the stuff sounds "old". I've been making music for 3 years now, but haven't really been as interested lately.
the melodies of the 2nd break sound off the key
you need to make the build up sounds more powerful, the drop came in out of nowhere, not even a pre-drop sample, I almost had a heart attack. the bass sounds lack of mixing
I think I know whats wrong. I dropped the master volume by a few DB before the drop and reset the DB at the drop. Maybe I dropped too many DB and it sounds too powerful. And I did as much mixing as I could on those bass sounds and the melody does sounds somewhat offkey but thats because theirs an Isotope Vinyl on it to give it a aged feel; but I can assure you everything is in key. Ill take your advice and apply it to my next piece. Thanks for the feedback!
i kinda don't like how you use that one main bass over and over again in a drop, lack of variation
Thank you for your feedback! I'll try to keep that in mind next time.
the drop is fucking repetitive, it has like one pattern of melody only, I'd suggest adding the hit bass, growl or play around with the melody for variation
Yes it really is repetitive
I'm going to work on it today to see if I could change the drop so it has more variation
what device do you use? cuz i want you to get a better DAW
The thing is, I use Windows and use something called Soundtrap, but I need a Mac and Garageband / FL Studio to do good stuff... yeah i can do so much better with that...
the drop is... disappointing at first...
i mean the build-up was so powerful but then the drop...
i understand what you you mean, the drop gets more powerful over time, and it would've been a better transition if it started out with that power.
good use of percussions, samples
lack of transitions, no impacts or white noise
and how high were you while making the 01:04 part xdd
btw 01:34 bruh
not sure about the 2nd drop, imo, it kills my ears but hey, that's an interesting idea
As already mentioned, to each his own and everyone sees the idea in their own way. Anyway, thanks!
i think this is very relaxing
the vocal chops at 01:00 are a bit weird, they sound like they had a phaser fx
Thanks for your review :) I think I slapped OTT on everything in an attempt to make it sound somewhat interesting
when you want to have a STRONG sound, layer them with a shit ton of presets instead of one saw chord, the kick is... a bit clicky
Cool! I have noticed that the saw chord section is a bit barebones. What kind of presets or sounds would you use to fill the gap, or what would do you think would synergize well with the combo?
ever heard of sidechain?
anyway, give Wax some credit like his newgrounds or youtube or anything like that
hmm. I did the collab feature on ng and it doesn't seem to show his name.
Anyways what do you think needs sidechain? I use subtle sidechain a lot in my songs but here I think the kick sounds out enough to be fine without it.
